During the last week of October, the SBE Secretariat released a request for expressions of interest for the next global SBE conference, to be held in 2023. The selected conference proposal will be publicly announced at the WSBE20 conference in Gothenburg during June 2020.

Submitted by nlarsson on Sat, 11/16/2019 - 21:38Te iiSBE Annual General Meeting for 2019 will be held in Malta on November 20, the day before the two-day SBE Malta conference is to take place. We are trying to emphasize the role of videoconferencing this year, to reduce our travel emissions. We are expecting 9 iiSBE members to attend in person and about 10-12 more to link in via Skype.
Update on the SBE Conference Series

This year, our colleagues have organized very successful regional events in Brussels, Scilla (Calabria), Helsinki, Prague, Tokyo, Milano, Graz, Cardiff, Temuco and Thessaloniki. You can see summary reports of most of these events as prepared by the organizers.
Richard Lorch launches on-line open access journal

Taipei launches 2018-20 SBE conference cycle
Submitted by nlarsson on Fri, 10/26/2018 - 23:06The current cycle of the SBE conference series was well launched in Taipei on 14 October, at the National Taipei University of Science and Technology (NTUST). The conference, formally called the 2018 Conference on Innovative Low-Carbon and Green Buildings in Subtropical Areas (ILCGBS), was very well organized under the leadership of Dr. Cheng-Li Cheng, who is Dean of the Design College and also President of the Architectural Institute of Taiwan.
