We now include an updated Ukrainian-language version
_____________

An international group of iiSBE members and other colleagues have developed a proposal to support the sustainable reconstruction of urban areas in Ukraine.

iiSBE 2.0 Reboot

Except for a very small number of exceptions, we have not asked for nor collected membership fees for the 18-month pandemic and therefore we are re-starting with a more-or-less clean sheet as of 01 November. We are now distributing these documents to many previous and potential members.

Development of a new iiSBE website

On 20 March a web meeting was held to discuss progress on development of the new iiSBE website. Participants included Luis Bragança, Antonín Lupíšek, Greg Foliente, and Nils Larsson, all key members of iiSBE, and Vitor Costa, who has been retained as consultant to implement the work.

iiSBE AGM to be held in Malta on 20 November

Te iiSBE Annual General Meeting for 2019 will be held in Malta on November 20, the day before the two-day SBE Malta conference is to take place. ÖGNB joins iiSBE

The Österreichische Gesellschaft für Nachhaltiges Bauen (AKA the Austrian Green Building Council) has become a chapter of iiSBE. This step is welcomed by iiSBE President Luis Braganca as signaling that participation in iiSBE can be complementary to membership in the World Green Building Council (WGBC). The Spanish GBCe is also a member of both global networks.

For further information contact Peter Wallisch at office@oegnb.net, or Nils Larsson at larsson@iisbe.org.
